Eureka!
Maybe that should be a question mark…
Still it bothered me…surely there was a way to make everything work?
I didn’t give up. I tested. I researched.
…and now, it appears that I am victorious. It appears that my web pages are now being served in their proper forms, and that people who type parts of a directory (but not a full file address) will be routed to the nearest index.htm file. It appears that everyone using a MathML capable browser can now see all of my web page. I’ve tested this using IE8, Opera 10.53 and Firefox 3.6.3, and I’ve tested each of those browsers using both Windows XP and Windows Vista.
Did I win because I am incredibly smart? Maybe—but I suspect the real reason for my success is:
Learn from my win!
